An infectious blend of pop, rock, and electronica, Killer Flamingos produce a sound that is turning heads and capturing listeners everywhere. Superb musicianship, explosive stage presence, and concert-style performance have secured the band an important place on the Detroit music scene. This quintet consists of vocalist Michelle Carravallah, Darren Drake on keyboards, guitarist Todd Best, David Gondoly on bass guitar, and Tim Webber on drums.
The Killer Flamingos have quickly amassed a huge following of devoted fans throughout the state and beyond, and have gained recognition as one of the best bands in Detroit. Their first CD release, entitled Sick Society included songs that were featured in the Anna Nichole Smith movie, "Illegal Aliens" and MTV's "The Hills". The band has opened for national acts such as Sloan and Grammy winners, OK Go. The band secured its place on the original scene as the 2005 Sonic Summer, Detroit News Battle of the Bands Winners for best original band in Detroit!
